Joining our team - you will be collaborative, confident, ambitious, keen to get involved in the latest innovative frameworks and have the motivation to learn and develop your skills with support and guidance from Dunelm. During your 12-month placement you will be coached and mentored by the best tech colleagues who will shape you into a future business analyst.
What your 12 months will look like…
During your placement you will work within a development team consisting of Product Managers, QA’s and Developers. You will work closely with Internal stakeholders, UX and 3rd Parties to ensure that any features released to our website is of the highest standard for our customers.
You Will…
- Collaborate with users, key stakeholders and project team to translate business requirements into user stories for the development team to build
- Work closely with Product Managers to help shape the backlog of work – taking ownership of product related queries and following them through to resolution
- Be comfortable working with the development team to ensure they understand the vision for the product and are designing great features for our users
- Be confident to run stand ups and refinement sessions where required
- Develop appropriately detailed stories for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams
- Motivate the development teams to deliver solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency
- Understanding the technical solutions and validating the work produced by the tribe
- Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases
What you’ll bring:
- A genuine passion for technology
- The desire to learn and develop your skills in tech delivery
- Strong analytical thinking and a knack for solving challenging problems
- Brilliant written and verbal communication skills
- On track to receive a minimum 2:1 in your relevant degree
- Be a second year student at University looking for a undergraduate placement year
