WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which can be discussed with the recruitment team during the hiring process.

Acting as the key technical contact within the bank for ATM client, hardware, software, physical and logical security. Your knowledge of internal technologies, infrastructure and the device hardware will enable you to work with 3rd party service providers to support technical interaction between systems. You will help translate the organisations strategic objectives into technical deliveries and support implementation with internal and 3rd party delivery units. You will maintain any internal services required to manage the ATM inventory. Your expertise will be utilised to evaluate new technical solutions, ensure roadmaps are managed to remove technical obsolescence and support the development and delivery of technology projects across the ATM estate.

The difference you’ll make.

  • Providing technical evaluation and certification of ATM hardware for use in the Santander UK estate. Coordination of wider bank attestation/information requests across the Division against strict deadlines
  • Providing technical and logistical support to project teams within Santander and with key third party providers, both in and out of hours to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of projects.
  • Recommending and embedding new initiatives to enhance current processes
  • Carrying out software testing, build development and standardisation of the UK ATM platform providing the most robust ATM software solution.

What you’ll bring.

  • Technical knowledge of the working components of an ATM.
  • Proven IT support / delivery experience with a professional approach.

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • Experience of system management tools (preferably BigFix).
  • Knowledge of scripting using tools such as PowerShell and VBS.
  • Knowledge of networking basics (LAN/WAN components).
  • Creation of processes and procedures.

What else you need to know.

This is a hybrid working role with an expectation to travel into the Shenley Wood office occasionally when required.

This is a permanent position.
