We are looking for a summer intern to join our Database team. The internship will run from July 3rd until August 25th and is not only a great opportunity to gain practical work experience, but also potentially secure a place on our 2024 graduate training program!

Team Overview

Equilend DBA Team supports 3 major global regions and manages a variety of databases to support Equilend's Products. We focus on operational performance & maintenance of mission critical databases along with establishing the database tier for new & existing applications.

Responsibilities

As a DBA Intern, you will be working closely with our Database management team in London & New York, which will provide experience in Database Administration, Management & Team collaboration. You will also have the opportunity to network with different IT functions and even external business functions. Some of the responsibilities and learning experiences include:

Supporting and administering EquiLend's databases with DBA team
Learn setup & roles of On-Premises & Cloud databases
Administration & management of Oracle & Amazon RDS databases
Understanding different data replication processes and mechanisms
Documenting important workflow of complex DB process

Requirements

Be in your penultimate year of university study (graduating in 2024)
Great analytical and technical skills
Passionate about Technology
Attention to detail
Willingness to learn
