We’re proud to be part of The Riverside Group family and look after around 80% of Riverside’s stock – that’s over 40,000 properties based across the Northwest, Northeast and North of England.

Our Mission is to keep our customers’ homes safe, secure and well maintained – it’s what we do.

We’re now looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Team to manage the delivery of required works for group residential properties, including responsive repair works, void and new let property surveys and repairs, large-scale planned works and associated quality assurance activity, leading a number of teams (including matrix management) to carry out works to standard, timescale and budget.

· Lead, motivate and engage with your teams to ensure the delivery of a high quality service, ensuring the development and implementation of objectives to deliver the required programme of works for Group residential properties, including the Retirement Living Investment Programme.

· Ensure contractual commitments, for third-party providers, in terms of service delivery are embedded, monitored, delivered and reported on, ensuring management information is captured, and regular performance reviews take place, dealing with escalated issues as appropriate.

· Contribute to the review of existing contracted services, driving innovation and seeking out efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities as appropriate.

· Manage relationships with business stream managers and other key stakeholders to ensure Evolve’s ongoing effective service delivery for the Group, acting as focal point in relation to the performance of the service including dealing with and resolving escalated issues and complaints.

· Undertake financial responsibilities including developing and reviewing budgets and ensuring the invoicing process is carried out effectively and line with the Group’s financial controls and commercial arrangements, escalating planned over/under spending as appropriate.

· Provide a consultative service to management colleagues, on high-risk and complex building repair matters.

· Produce clear, informative and meaningful reports as required including performance reports, to inform decision making and identify performance improvements, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data at all times.

· Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively, including management colleagues and customers, providing advice and support and building constructive working relationships as appropriate.

· Manage the performance and development of your team, providing expertise, coaching and other developmental support as required, ensuring a quality service is provided and underperformance is dealt with appropriately.

· Contribute to the recruitment and selection process for all new appointments within your business area to ensure new team members have the required skills and competence to undertake their role effectively and display the appropriate behaviours required.

  • Conduct regular reviews of your service area, collaborating with and seeking feedback from internal and external stakeholders to identify efficiencies and continually improve the service provision.
  • Work collaboratively with the Evolve management team to ensure effective delivery of the wider service.

· Lead for Equality and Diversity within your teams, including Mental Health awareness, ensuring effective communications of, and compliance with, Evolve’s policies and standards.

  • Ensure that health and safety requirements are met in accordance with Evolve’s policy, procedures and statutory requirements.
