The Role
Accountable for delivering business value to Carnival UK, the VP Technology Services will lead the people who will provide leadership across the technology function in order to develop our technical strategy and architecture, and introduce a new engineering capability to Carnival UK, alongside data services that can evolve to provide leadership insight.
The role will:
- own the Carnival UK Technology Strategy; determining the required technology capability, development and implementation planning to deliver a digital business though enhancing, optimising and transforming Carnival UK guest and employee experience.
- work collaboratively to reduce barriers and increase technological enablement of the overall business strategy.
- develop a portfolio of services in a running environment, while introducing new digital capability to Carnival UK whereby you will oversee the digital transformation of our technology.
- define the performance management capability and governance model for Technology.
- ensure optimal integration with the business and value for money by working closely with senior leadership team colleagues across Carnival UK.
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK04 and is offered on a full time, permanent with at least two days based in our Southampton office.
About You

- you will have a post graduate degree or equivalent experience through on the job learning in a relevant field
- experience in delivering business and digital transformation
- knowledge of product ownership and agile delivery approaches
- experience of strategy and roadmap development, business case development and delivery on an enterprise scale
- be able to successful deliver transformation programmes at scale in complex multi-location environments
