Head of Technology – London / Hybrid

People Source are recruiting for a hugely exciting Head of Technology role, an exciting opportunity to work for a fast-growing and fast-paced company and reshape their technical landscape as they enter a large-scale Digital Transformation.

The Head of Technology will lead the company’s digital transformation efforts, identifying opportunities to improve business agility and drive value. This is an amazing opportunity to create a brand new technical setup that will directly and positively impact on people’s lives.

The Head of Technology will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s digital transformation efforts, identifying opportunities to improve business agility and drive value creation.
• Collaborate with the board of Directors to define the technology strategy and align technology initiatives with business objectives
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technology teams, shaping and building effective team topologies.
• Work closely with their Head of Data to execute data strategy and promote data as a product
• Drive the adoption of Agile and DevOps practices to support faster delivery of technology solutions
• Manage the technology budget
• Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners

In order to be considered for this Head of Technology role most of the following skills and experiences are required:

• Proven experience in technology leaderships roles with a strong focus on digital transformation, business agility and growth
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience of Enterprise Applications such as CRM, ERP etc.
• Experience of buying 3rd party Software Products
• Knowledge of Cyber Security and Data Governance
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience of leading and growing technology teams in complex, multi-functional environments
• Ability to manage budgets and drive technology investments
• Previous experience of working with Healthcare, Logistics or a scheduling intensive industry would be beneficial
• Degree or Master’s in Computer Science or Information Technology

The clients offices are based in Central London and ideally candidates will go to the office twice a week.
