Job description
Foodtest Laboratories Ltd is an established and growing food and environmental testing laboratory based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
We are looking to recruit someone to fulfil this exciting multidisciplinary role. If you have an interest in food, science, microbiology, and chemistry and have great organisational and time management skills this could be the role for you.
Working within our sample reception area you will be involved in planning collections of samples from customers and organising the samples as they arrive on site, so they are labelled and prepared for the relevant department for testing. You will get the opportunity to develop working relationships with our customers to ensure that service levels are maintained, and excellent customer satisfaction is achieved.
In addition to working within the sample reception area you will receive training to work within our Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratories where you will be involved in the routine preparation of food and environmental samples for testing purposes.
GCSE/ equivalent or above qualifications in Science, Mathematics and English are required to be considered for this job role.
Scheduled Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 09:00 till 17:00
