BioTalent is supporting a great global leader in life sciences for the role of an R&D Technologist based in Cambridge. They truly believe in bringing talented people together with the mission of improving the world and growing people’s careers with excellent training and development.
This is a 6 month contract position from Monday-Friday and will last until Mid August 2024. Within this time, you will work on a novel project involving mammalian cell lines and gene expression with an impactful and innovative multi-disciplinary team!

You will be responsible for:
· Culture mammalian cell lines in flasks and small-scale bioreactors
· Generate mammalian expression vectors
· Devise and perform innovative ways to optimise cell line construction processes
· Garner and sign-off good quality data & present written/oral reports.
You will bring the following:
· BSc or MSc degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry or a related life science.
· Being able to work with minimal supervision (once trained).
· 1+ years of R&D experience - practical industrial experience in relevant mammalian cell culture techniques.
· Experience with CHO suspension cultures is beneficial
· Effective communication, proactive and collaborative
