JOB TITLE: Technician to Support the Art and Design Technology Faculty


WORKING PATTERN:
32.5 hours per week TERM TIME ONLY

WORKING HOURS: 8.30am – 3.30PM Monday to Friday

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

SALARY: Grade C Points 4 to 6 £21,189 to £21,968 Per Annum PRO RATA

CLOSING DATE: Friday 3rd March 2023 at 9.00am

THE ROLE:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified candidate to support the teachers in the Food Technology, Hair and Beauty and Design Technology departments in the preparation and delivery of practical lessons and ensure they have the necessary equipment to deliver their curriculum. Duties will include placing orders and checking deliveries, supporting staff with the care and cleaning of the food technology rooms including ovens, checking equipment after practical lessons to ensure it is clean and stored correctly and ensuring classrooms are tidy, clean and free from all hazard.

You will have previous experience in a similar role, be able to organise and prioritise a demanding workload and have an enthusiastic and positive. You will be proactive, creative and resourceful with service provision, embracing technology and new ways of working.
