Background to the Post
Technicians provide a high standard of technical and learning support in order to maintain a well prepared and realistic working environment. This role will be essential to the effective delivery of study programmes to young people and qualifications to adults.
The School of Arts at Royal Leamington Spa College is home to two well-equipped furniture and 3D design workshops, incorporating a range of industry standard tools and machines that are used by both Further Education and leisure course students.

Our Royal Leamington Spa campus delivers various specialisms from Hair & Beauty to Games Art & Design. As well as these courses we also have an onsite Bistro where some of our students complete their catering courses. We offer a broad range of career opportunities including teaching and support roles.
Essential Attainments:
- A Higher level qualification in the subject area.
- A GCSE in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
- Previous experience of working within the vocational area.
- Awareness of Health and Safety regulations and experience of implementing H&S procedures.
- Experience in using and maintaining a range of tools and fixed machines relating to woodworking and 3D design
