We have an exciting opportunity for a Process Improvement and Risk Management Analyst to join our GBS Process, Risk & Controls Team. The role is responsible for undertaking process improvement, risk management and governance activities ensuring compliance with policies and standards that are in place to mitigate risks including the implementation of ongoing evidenced controls. The role is also responsible for the management and ongoing governance of policies and processes.
The Role
As a Process Improvement and Risk Management Analyst, you will have the following accountabilities:
Support teams to identify aspects of processes that can be improved to mitigate further risk to the business
Risk management and implementation of effective mitigating controls including understanding of the current risk landscape
Execution of activities to support the GBS Assurance plan in accordance with the Centrica Risk and Assurance methodology
Provision of coordination and support activities to facilitate the effective execution of internal and external audits targeted on GBS supported functions
Ongoing identification and maintenance of the HR Operational Risk Log to ensure risks are being suitably managed
Management and governance of all Policies and Processes across HR and GBS supported functions
Ongoing review of both financial and operational controls that enable compliance with policies and standards and applicable regulations, to ensure that they are being operated as required by control operators and management
Build and maintain relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure Risk, Audit and Process Management activities run as smoothly as possible
Collation of data to support the regular reporting to leaders utilising technology such as PowerBI and Power Apps
Skills and experience
Good knowledge and experience working in a systems, process, or operational compliance environment, ideally within a HR/GBS environment
Experience working in a process improvement or risk management environment
Understanding of Six Sigma Methodologies
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
Experience managing governance requirements and activities
Proven experience of executing audit and/or assurance activities
Proven experience of process management and document governance
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools (such as Power BI)
Location: You can work in Leeds, Windsor, Leicester or at home, we have people working all over the UK but also a range of office locations
