An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the School of Mathematics and Statistics Technical Support Team as a Technician at the University of St Andrews. The role holder will join a Technical Support Team of three and a wider Professional Services Team of eleven, to support our staff and students with the technical and specialist computing provision within the School.
The role holder will be flexible and be able to prioritise the needs of students, academics and the School. They will possess excellent team and relationship management skills, sound judgement and effective problem-solving skills. They will have experience of working in a busy, customer focused environment and be committed to enhancing the School’s service to students, staff and external contacts.
Experience in a similar role in a University or research environment with an understanding of teaching within Higher Education would be advantageous.
