National Highways have an excellent opportunity for an Asset Data and Intelligence Technician to join our team within Operations, based in the Yorkshire and North East region. The Asset Data and Intelligence Technician will input, maintain and improve asset data held within the National Highways suite of asset databases; in order to support the assessment of needs, make investment decisions and maintenance activities for the Planning & Development, Scheme and Service Delivery teams.
What you’ll be leading on
- To accurately input, manage and maintain asset data in a timely manner, held in NH asset databases in line with current guidance and standards (ADMM, DMRB, Etc.)
- To undertake asset inventory and survey updates in a timely manner in accordance with Asset Data Management Manual (ADMM).
- To maintain and input various asset data types into the Confirm asset database to allow various business teams to monitor performance and progress.
- To maintain and input/extract from the HAPMS/PAMS database particularly to maintain pavement construction data to aid the business in meeting its key KPI for this dataset.
- Ensure accurate and complete datasets are maintained within the Confirm asset database to support the production of the Maintenance Requirements Plan.
- To support the wider business in fulfilling asset data requests including third parties and customers by providing relevant data in a suitable format.
To be successful
- 5 GCSE’s or other relevant qualifications or experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Especially Excel)
- Experience in GIS mapping applications
- Experience of using NH databases would be an advantage
- Good Communication Skills
