Halo recruit are seeking an experienced Data Processor/data analyser to work directly for our client.
We require a forward thinking, fast to adapt person to join our clients team. Working alongside the Data Supervisor you will learn both data sortation, cleansing and proofing. This will enable you to run our clients high-speed colour & mono laser printers and manage data requirements. The successful candidate will cleanse and format client databases for the purpose of postal processing and setting of document templates for laser print use, proofing, and reporting.

The main duties of a Data & Lasering Operative are:
- To work on data from client and postal specification
- To create printing proofs for client specification and approval
- Troubleshoot data issues
- To work with your colleagues on approval of jobs for laser, digital or inkjet printing outputs
- Set up and run high-speed colour & mono laser printers.
- Work with our suppliers for the purposes of breakdowns & printer maintenance
- Effectively balance the department workload, especially in period of absence of the data supervisor & others
Skills Required:
- Maths & English GCSE’s or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability organise and prioritise workloads and plan tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A huge part of this role is having the ability to prioritise workload and looking ahead of the schedule to ensure all jobs are processed within the department efficiently.
Previous experience within the mailing industry would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Your working hours would be 8:30am to 5pm – Monday to Friday with 30 mins unpaid lunch each day. On occasions working hours may differ due to workload and in some instances, you may be required work earlier or later to ensure the workload for that day is completed
