Job description
- Research and write informative and engaging content on various construction-related topics, such as project management, safety, materials, equipment, and regulations.
- Produce high-quality written content for a range of formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure that content is aligned with the overall marketing strategy and brand voice.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and regulations to ensure that content is relevant and accurate.
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and style.
- Arrange and record proposal team meetings;
- Work with proposal lead to draft tailored content;
- Manage technical content;
- Work with external vendors and stakeholders to obtain their input and information;
- Review and editing of proposal material;
- Track proposals – submissions, successes, opportunities for improvement;
- Set-up and participate in debriefs and document feedback;
- Act as the single point of contact for all RFP, RFPQ, Expressions of Interest (EOI), and other such communications;
- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in writing for the construction industry, preferably in an industrial context.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Excellent research skills and ability to synthesize complex information.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit own work.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to optimize content for search engines.
