Location: Agile – Home working or office based across NYP & NYFRS estates. There is a requirement to attend Head Office in Northallerton, North Yorkshire as and when required
Salary: Scale 5/6 £25,758 - £30,375 pro rata
Hours: Part-time 20.5 hours per week across three days (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) 08:30-17:00
Contract: Permanent

Are you a keen communicator with a real strength for negotiating, influencing, networking, and communicating when building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders?
We are looking for a Technical Support Officer to join our Estates and Sustainability Team where you will be responsible for ensuring that our support and services are timely, fit for purpose and measurable, and retain a focus on positive outcomes for our clients in delivering services to the public.
A little bit about us…
The Estates and Sustainability Team is one of three departments within the Assets Function supporting the overall enableNY delivery model. The team is key in shaping and delivering a service offering, by providing expert advice, technical support, and administration services on the full range of estates management matters whilst ensuring regulatory and legal compliance for the delivery of our services.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Estates and Sustainability Manager, Senior Estates Officer and the Facilities and Sustainability Manger with the gathering, collating and management of Estates related information, data and documentation.
- Ensuring the function is delivered in line with specific targeted customer service levels, health and safety standards and legislation.
- Engaging with internal and external customers for the successful implementation of change, by contributing to and leading on projects; contributing to working groups to develop improved business performance and processes.
- Managing internal customer relationships and expectations to ensure that an efficient service is provided.
- Developing process improvements, enhancements and end-to-end processes and procedures.
- Leading direct reports in the efficient performance of their roles, including performance management and development.
- Ensuring quality and value for money issues are considered in the management of the estate.
- Investigating, collating, presenting, reporting on and maintaining management information.

- Be talented in using various IT systems including Microsoft Office.

- Be confident with producing and presenting accurate data and information.
- Provide a high level of service by combining your professional knowledge and insight, with personal credibility and talent.
