An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Suffolk County Council (SCC) Technical Support Team as a Technical Support Officer based at Endeavour House in Ipswich.

Your role and responsibilities
- carrying out a range of administrative and financial duties to support the Transport Strategy Officers and Flood and Water Teams
- dealing with complex customer queries
- loading planning documents into the Mastergov and Flood and Water databases
- processing Traffic Management Applications (TMA notices)
- ordering works (eg. P2P orders, insight etc.) and raising Invoices on Oracle
- receiving, recording, and issuing land drainage consents/refusal notices
- managing payments (fees, licences, contributions).
You will need:
- great customer focus, excellent customer service skills and to enjoy being part of a team
- experience of the Microsoft suite of applications and spreadsheets (essential) and knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Mastergov etc. (desirable), but full training will be given
- the ability to edit webpages.
