A technical role that involves working on clients’ sites (Cheshire and East Midlands) delivering high quality end user support ensuring service support and delivery processes are aligned to the clients’ needs. Working closely with the highly successful and passionate service desk team you’ll deliver high standards of support and excellent customer service. You’ll be involved in innovative projects using cutting-edge technology to help digitally transform organisations.
What you’ll be doing:
· Asset Management including hardware and software first and second line support
· Working to SLAs and KPIs provide technical support to end users and IT support staff
· Providing regular communication on the progress of investigations and planned solutions
· Working closely with the Service Desk Team ensuring assigned calls are responded to, diagnosed, and resolved swiftly
· Assist remote support engineers with incident resolution for any onsite devices
· Ensure knowledge articles and process documents are relevant and up to date
What you’ll bring to the role:
· A technical background with working knowledge of Azure, Office 365, Intune and SharePoint
· Basic Active Directory knowledge for creating user accounts, password resets and creating groups.
· Working knowledge of mobile devices.
· Awareness of networking fundamentals
· Working knowledge of server technologies, security principles and backup technologies
· Preferably Microsoft-based qualifications/certifications
