Responsibility
The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for a wide range of tasks such as being responsible for Distributor, Dealer and end user support on the full product range and its applications, ensuring that the duties of a Technical Support Engineer, are fulfilled to a high standard and ensuring that you ‘lead by example’.
Leading (Expert Function)
· Providing a complete Engineering and Technical support on our range of milking machinery and Herd management systems
· Providing helpdesk support to our national and international distributor and dealer network on a 24/7/365 rota basis
· Maintaining accurate documentation and reports during and after site visits
· Analyse and Reports operational & functional issues on all Fullwood JOZ products and services
· Carry out commissioning of Conventional and Automated Milking Systems, in accordance with company procedures, throughout the UK and, when required, overseas.
Supporting (Support Function)
· Support R&D on issues resolution and testing of developments.
· Training on all Fullwood JOZ products and services in line with the company policy
· Assist in a supervisory or training role to help with the practical installation of new equipment on site and in a classroom environment.

Background & Experience
Essential
· Electrical knowledge – HNC / Diploma level and certified to work on live equipment.
· Automation experience - PLC / Programming experience (e.g., Siemens)
· Mechanical skills – assembly and basic skills for assembling and fixing equipment.
· Experience within a similar position.
· Independent and solution focused.
· Willingness to travel regularly throughout the U.K and further afield.
· Ability to work independently with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
· Experience in the agricultural sector, preferably dairy industry.
· Experience in hydraulics.
· Experienced in a classroom/ online training.
· Experience in Agricultural software programs.
· Knowledge of an additional European language, preferably French speaking.
