Job description
Magen David Yeshivah is looking for Level 1 Technical Support Specialist at our Brooklyn school.
The school year is consistent with the Jewish calendar and closed during summer.
Responsibilities:
Install and configure computer systems and applications within the school
Diagnose hardware and software issues and solve technical and application problems
Respond to staff inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues
Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions
Setup and run media presentations and live stream events
Assist management in creating materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage
Migrate computer hardware and maintain neat cable management standards
Comfortable working in and assisting others through school help desk software, such as Servicedesk Plus, in person, and remote access desktop programs
Qualifications:
6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in the technology field
A+ or equivalent certification strongly preferred
Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
Able to communicate with staff members on a professional level
A passion and curiosity for problem solving and learning
Candidates should be able to lift 40 lbs and traverse multiple stories of stairs
This is an entry level position. The person hired for this position will gain a great deal of knowledge and skills that will help them throughout their IT career.
