This role is to provide effective and efficient support to the Parking Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn all aspects of technical and business support required to support the wider Parking Service.
Working as part of a team the post holder will be involved in undertaking a variety of administrative tasks, which will include answering telephone calls and responding to emails, which can sometimes be complex/technical in nature, updating systems, recovery of unpaid Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and issuing parking permits. This is in addition to purchasing tasks and reconciliation of payments and cash collected from ticket machines.
You will be required to provide excellent customer service and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, be familiar with IT systems and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will be based in one of the Councils offices in central Halifax (the location will be provided upon appointment).
The successful application will study towards a level 3 qualification in Business Administration.
