- Whilst on shift you will be responsible for all 1st and 2nd line activities of a large complex highly secure £80M Managed Service. This includes but not inclusive to: Core Networking and Routing Technologies, IT, Infrastructure Technologies, VOIP Technologies, Environment and intruder detection technologies
- You will strictly adhere to all platform and building SYOPS’s, processes, procedures and local work instructions (inc any BT/Customer requested sub activities) as authorised and directed by the Operational Service Manager (OSM)
- You will maintain the strictest government/MoD security assurance and accreditation of the Managed Service
- You are to ensure that all technologies and infrastructures remain in a R0 state (immediate) and you are to support the platform team in regularly testing, and developing the capabilities as directed by the OSM
- You are to support, help coach, mentor and support other members of the team; providing feedback where appropriate within the team to ensure that everyone is inclusive within the team and that there is a 'One Team approach'
- Operational experience and technical expertise
- Significant technical, process and procedural knowledge across all platforms and aspects of the Managed Service
- You are to be accredited by the customer and user authorities and authorised to be the platform Shift Operator
- You are to be technologically current and competent, gaining and maintaining the highest security compliance and accreditations for secure, bespoke managed services
- You must hold and maintain the highest personal security credentials, technology accreditations as appropriate/required to carry out your role as authorised and required and as defined in the Security Aspects Letter (SAL) and the Defence Managed Services Contract
