Technical Support
Medium-sized technology corporation with a UK headquarters and offices in the USA and China. Specialising in the design, manufacture, and global distribution of premium audio decoders and amplifiers. Abbingdon Global Ltd is looking for a Tech Support professional to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has a strong work ethic, and is willing to learn.
This position will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving customer issues. You will also be responsible for assisting customers with their technical needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, accurate, and efficient service to all customers
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware and software on a computer, network and other devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions from customers regarding their devices
- Document all customer requests in the customer account records
- Follow up with customers to ensure resolution of issues and customer satisfaction
- Contact internal departments for assistance when needed
- Follow procedures for documenting work performed in the customer account records
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements
- Experience as a Service Desk Analyst or other customer support role
- Experience or expose to a call logging/ticketing system
- Good understanding of computer systems, knowledge of audio products, databases, Microsoft Office and G Suite.
- An interest or experience in Audio tech
- Experience using Service Desk software and remote support tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills both online and over the telephone
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Patience when handling tough cases
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Proficiency in English and Maths
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £19,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
