Technical Analyst – Proactive Support Team AFC 5 (Various sites) NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) are recruiting an experienced technical analyst to join a Proactive Support Team within eHealth. The Team’s primary objective is to deliver a customer focused eHealth technical support services including comprehensive support to all eHealth Desktops and end user devices within NHSGGC. The team’s additional objectives include deployment of applications within the eHealth environment, continually developing and improving the eHealth infrastructure, assisting other eHealth Teams in support of the complete eHealth infrastructure and management of network user resources. The post-holder will participate in most team roles and will work within a rota system for covering different sites / groups of sites, depending on workload and involvement in Strategic Objectives. Further roles require to meet the team’s additional objectives of developing the Desktop environment and deploying (packaging) applications will also be within the rota system, however further competency levels / qualifications will be required before the post-holder will be eligible to participate in these areas. The post-holder must have a combination of customer engagement skills, relevant technical education and qualification and demonstrable IT experience within the specialist area.
