We are seeking a IT Senior Technical Specialist to be a part of our team.

Participate in development efforts and provide application support for Laboratory Information Management System. Contribute to all software-development life-cycle phases including: problem analysis, solution requirement gathering and analysis, solution design, implementation, code review and deployment, QA and production support.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes, reviews, and alters LIMS application to increase operating efficiencies and/or adapt new lab requirements
• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and documents code to address bugs and/or introduce new functionality
• Provide support and troubleshooting of production systems
• Interact with users
• Perform code reviews and unit testing
• Participates in the design of technical requirements for the application/solution
• Provide on-call support for production as required
• Participate in agile or Kanban process in small, medium and/or large project development
• Perform code reviews and unit testing
• Adhere to enterprise best practices and processes

Required Skills and Work Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years experience with Uniface
• Experience with Oracle
• Experience with Linux
• Minimum 5 years working in Healthcare
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well alone or on a team with limited supervision
• Strong code-factoring philosophy and techniques

Desired Experience:

• 5+ years working with LIMS
• Experience with HL7
• Experience with MOLIS application and MPL (MOLIS Programming Language)
