IT/AV Technical Specialist
IT/AV Service Delivery Team
Business technologies, IT facilities and services, together with associated and other integrated facilities;- Hardware (desktop, laptops, mobile devices, audio and visual conferencing, peripherals, and associated equipment) in support of the business and educational practices to include installations, configuration and setup, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance;
- Software applications and operating systems that are either department specific or Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) software;
- Advocating the Service Desk as a focus of contact for users of the University’s IT/AV systems;
- Undertaking Service Request, Incident, Problem management, and other Service Desk duties.
The routine hours of work will be from 8.45am to 17.10pm Monday to Friday with weekend cover once every 8 weeks during term time (approx. 4 times a year). There will be also a need to provide out of hours support or a requirement to work varying hours for University events including evenings/weekends to ensure service commitment are met.
