About this role:
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Sr. Specialist, Marketing Planning & Optimization to support the Global Marketing team and be a change agent as we continuously improve our marketing operating model. You will be leading the marketing planning discipline across regions, segments and solutions and you’ll be driving the rhythm of the business for the marketing organization. In this role, you will be helping to increase efficiency and productivity by streamlining strategic initiatives, project management, communication and simplifying processes. Effectively, your role will facilitate the annual marketing planning process ensuring alignment and interlock with marketing, sales, finance and product; you will leverage marketing-related metrics to justify and support the plan; you will coordinate the quarterly marketing reviews with business stakeholders; you will help define the format and agenda of the annual marketing Summit; you will lead strategic projects for the organization; and you will ensure the allocation of resources to develop and execute against the plan.
What you will do:
- Orchestrator of Planning and Performance Process Management across Global Marketing
- Collaborates with marketing leaders to achieve alignment with the corporate strategy and key priorities
- Orchestrate the annual marketing planning process [e.g. milestones, participants, actions, templates, calendar], ensuring marketing’s goals are aligned with sales and product objectives, and that each function’s contribution to the plan is coordinated and aligned to help achieve business objectives and efficiency
- Oversee daily operations in collaboration with stakeholders, coordinating resources and providing overall project alignment for pipeline performance reviews, monthly newsletters, and enablement sessions
- Execute tactical support of weekly leadership calls, monthly Global Marketing All Hands meetings, Quarterly Marketing Performance Reviews and Quarterly Board meetings including agenda prioritization, template creation and communication of actionable items
- Manage the master calendar of all marketing activities, cadences, and timelines
- Help define and execute the annual marketing summit
- Strategic Project Manager facilitating end to end work streams
- Administrator within the project management system that leads and directs planning processes for Marketing
- Collaborate closely with project owners to determine project scope, requirements and deliver actionable recommendations
- Drive projects to completion by creating the project timeline and the ensuring everyone keeps to this timeline
- As required, lends specific project management support to critical and complex marketing activities requiring organization across departments
- Participate in new technology selection and drive enablement and adoption with marketing teams
- Become the subject matter expert in these technologies to drive adoption of the tool and process associated: train, coach, manage and handle inquiries surrounding the systems
- Partner with Revenue Operations to identify high priority technology related opportunities and coordinate delivering these program milestones with other key program contributors
- Critical Individual Contributor to the Planning and Optimization team
- Leading and implementing key transformative projects identified with marketing leaders [e.g. definition, milestones, ownership, measurement, execution
- Ensure that the marketing teams execute the plans on time and on budget; and help to reduce the number of small / low impact activities to focus more on larger campaigns and programs driving our business metrics.
- Proactively develop, implement, monitor, and socialize new and/or existing processes that improve cross-functional alignment, effectiveness, and decision-making such as enhancing financial processes and leading the charge to expand the marketing employee onboarding program
- Gather and disseminate internal and external marketing best practices
- Owner of internal collaboration site, suggesting improvements and streamlining communication to ensure alignment within Marketing
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum of 5-7+ years of relevant marketing experience in similar role, ideally within the Marketing Department related to marketing planning, logistics, project management and/or operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience serving, collaborating with and influencing executive management
- Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
- Comprehensive knowledge of overall Marketing functions, including understanding of sales and product lifecycles and their respective pressures on the marketing organization to drive demand and revenue
- Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Action-oriented and data-driven with excellent interpersonal skills and dedication to efficient productivity
- Outstanding program management capabilities to drive projects and deliverables across the marketing organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to work closely with VP and executive-level managers
- Proficient in industry tools, such as SFDC, Microsoft Office (specifically power point and excel), Monday.com, Tableau SharePoint, Allocadia and Netsuite
- Smart, bold but humble attitude to work collaboratively with CyberArk colleagues

The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $130,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
