Technical Services Officer (Waste and Environmental Management ) Swansea, Wales
Job description
Responsible for the Health Boards compliance with Environment / Waste Legislation, ISO accreditation and Energy performance.
Working closely with the Technical Services Manager as well as the Estates Department and other Directorates and partners. This role requires a wide range of Environmental knowledge necessitating a multi-disciplinary approach to address the significant challenges faced by the Health Board, therefore applicants should be motivated and enthusiastic with a proven experience of managing within the Environmental discipline.
Regular travel between the Health Board's large portfolio of sites is an essential requirement of the post.
Working within a small team with in the Estates Department , will be required to interact and provide professional advice to a wide rage of departments within the Health Board.
