The Role

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Technical Services Lead Engineer – Heavy Maintenance Support.

Reporting to the, the Head of Technical Services you will act as the focal point for Technical Services support to Heavy Maintenance. The role will liaise with all Heavy Maintenance facilities to ensure Technical Services are effectively supporting the delivery of the Heavy Maintenance Plan. The successful candidate will be based at a site within the Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) Group or Stansted.

As Technical Services Lead Engineer – Heavy Maintenance Support, you will

Assist in co-ordinating Technical Services issues with the various departments and managing the response times to ensure they meet the required check deadlines.

Attend daily production meeting on behalf of Technical Services and follow up on actions to ensure timely resolution.

Drive early identification of reliability and task card findings back into Approved Maintenance Program and Reliability departments. Assist in development of effective reliability monitoring programme utilising data from Base Maintenance

Review Heavy Maintenance findings/defects and the identification of solutions for repeat occurrences

Assist the with annual evaluation of the effectiveness of the Maintenance Program

Requirements

Relevant engineering qualification or aircraft maintenance technician qualification or 3 years relevant work experience in similar role.

The successful person will be able to drive compliance and efficiency improvements in the services provided to Heavy Maintenance by the Technical Services department.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to operate at the highest level within Ryanair’s Engineering organisation, including the Chief Engineers of AOCs.

You will have a proven successful track record in an aircraft engineering organisation and will be able to demonstrate exceptional technical, commercial and organisational skills.
