Job description
The Informatics Directorate provides IT services to all the University Hospitals Dorset sites. The Programme Management Team plays an extremely important role by delivering and supporting a range of IT services and implementations to the Trust’s ~7000 members of staff, in support of high quality patient care.
We are currently looking for a Senior Technical IT Project Manager to support the Informatics Programme and projects that will be implemented across the Trust.
The post will involve travel between local NHS sites.
Strong candidates for these roles will have an excellent understanding and experience of Project Management; a strong IT technical background; enjoy helping others; will be familiar working in admin/support role; good time management skills and impeccable communications skills, both written and verbal. The successful candidate will possess high organisational skills and be comfortable and capable of working in a busy environment, both as part of a team and on their own initiative.
