IT Project Manager

£30,000 - £45,000 per annum

Permanent Office Based role

Hours working 5 days over 7 to include weekends

Shift pattern hours between 6am and 10pm

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a well-established Logistics company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team.

The Role

The IT Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects. This includes defining project scope, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating with stakeholders. The IT Project Manager must have a strong understanding of IT principles and practices, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Onboarding new customers
• Define project scope and objectives
• Develop project plans and timelines
• Manage project budgets
• Coordinate with stakeholders
• Track project progress and identify risks
• Communicate project status to management and customers
• Resolve project issues
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the agreed-upon scope

The Person

• Knowledge of warehouse WMS (RP/JDA) and carrier systems is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in IT project management
• Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects
• Strong understanding of IT principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to adapt to change
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
