Overview:
We are thrilled to present an exclusive opportunity within our Marketing team for a Marketing &
Social Media Graduate. This role is designed to leverage the unique skills and knowledge you gained during your university journey. As a recent graduate, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our eCommerce team, utilizing your academic background in marketing and social media to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the eCommerce team to assist with product uploads and reporting on our Shopify website, as well as other sales channels such as Amazon and Laura James
Ireland.
- Utilize Algolia AI and Klevu software to ensure continuous updates of our website with our latest products, ensuring our online catalogue remains current and engaging for our customers.
- Craft compelling product descriptions and enhance product listings to elevate our company's
SEO, thus increasing visibility and search rankings.
- Apply the marketing strategies and techniques you've acquired during your academic journey to assist our Social Media team in curating and delivering content across various social platforms, including LinkedIn, Houzz, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
- Stay updated on the latest marketing trends, platform updates, and industry developments to seize growth and marketing opportunities, putting your academic research skills to work.
- Utilize tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics, SemRush,
Klaviyo, Shopify, and Meta Business Suite for content creation and analytics.
- Enhance the visual appeal of our products and content through basic photo editing when necessary, applying your creative flair to improve visual aesthetics (Training can be provided).
Requirements:
- A recent graduate in Marketing, Social Media, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the workings of social media channels, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and
Pinterest.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply data-driven insights from your academic studies.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Preference for Shopify experience, though not required.
- Preference for experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Photoshop, based on your academic projects.
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
