Job description:
Reporting to the Section Chief PMTD - IM Separation and PLM Transformation, the Project Manager role will consist in contributing to the governance and tracking activities progress and solutions deployment.
Responsibilities include :
- Contribute to the development of end-to-end schedules for each of the projects in your portfolio of applications: participate in roadmap implementation, define the end-to-end schedule with all involved stakeholders, follow-up and report on plan execution
- Support the projects activities and be accountable for project management & deliverables within the area of responsibility with all involved parties.
- Work with various groups to contribute to ONE integrated plan, critical paths, and key dependencies across all workstreams with respect to Enterprise Tools Projects
- Implement and provide Project dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and Program Review material.
- Support resource and capacity plans across all work streams within the context of projects managed.
- Provide cost, schedule and quality data to create transparency on project progress
- Responsible for employing best practices related to Project Management including management of Budget, Timeline, Scope, Technical Deliveries, stakeholders and SMEs.
- Identify and report Issues and Risks with support to the mitigation plans related to each project of your portfolios.
- Responsible to drive deliveries and raise road blocks that cannot be resolved to Program Manager and Executive Steering
- Participate in the problem solving and recovery plans when required to maintain key deliverables' timeline.
- Responsible for the maturity and quality of the project and the readiness at the gates of the project"
Required Skills:
- You have a Bachelor degree in Management, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of Delivery/Product/Project Management experience in large scale, high risk, or strategic projects, preferably with IT Transformation background in a large global enterprise.
- You ideally have experience in aerospace and/or PLM applications.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams within a formalized methodology, including working with large System Integrators.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining all project deliverables across the Project Life Cycle such as, project charter, project management plan, status reports, project timesheets, communications plan, budget, and schedule.
- Demonstrated expertise in project financial planning and management, ensuring a complete and accurate view is available on request, covering actual data from start to date, and forecast date until Project completion
- Demonstrated expertise in managing Project deliverable reviews and approval processes, within stated timeline, recording of Minutes of reviews and related approvals for deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope and quality while bringing projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements.
- You are proficient in project management tools (Zoho, JIRA, etc.) and Google Workspace suite.
- Management experience of medium to large size.
- Management of remote resources (global delivery or distributed organization).
- You are a team player with strong communication skills who interfaces well with the many business partners involved
- You have good analytical, planning, problem solving and good interpersonal skills.
- You are motivated, autonomous, results-oriented, show good team spirit and have a structured and proactive working method
- [ideal, not required] Bilingual (spoken and written) in French and English.
- PMP certification is an asset
