Technical Project Manager
- Using Agile approach -work with teams using an Agile methodology to allow collaboration and realising value sooner.
- Managing virtual teams of <100 and including several 3rd party Suppliers, providing strong leadership across many Projects, depending on size and complexity.
- Conflict resolution through problem-solving, negotiation, open communication, and direct influencing.
- E2E planning of projects, including resources, negotiating, and securing resources as required.
- E2E ownership of the project, ensuring delivery to time, budget and quality as expected.
- Responsible for project governance, <£5m budget management, risk, issue, and change management for the entire project.
- Providing reporting to time and standard as directed by PMO.
- Collaborating across all design and delivery partners to produce coherent project outcomes.
- Working across the stakeholder group whilst influencing up to the Director level.
- Visibly owning delivery and driving engagement for the project.
- Influencing - using business and domain expertise to affect project outcomes.
- Driving – E2E ownership of a project. Ensuring delivery to time, budget and quality as expected.
- Negotiating - Interlocking projects with dependencies and dependant projects, securing prioritisation and alignment as required.
- Experience using agile methodology across project management, scrum mastering or product ownership.
- Experience managing security projects.
- Knowledge of Telecoms Security Acts.
- Good knowledge of and experience with networks and security products and services.
- Professional experience delivering medium to large projects (<£5m) within a Gated Project Governance process.
- Ability to provide effective leadership and project planning to project teams.
- Experience communicating with stakeholders up to the Director level, driving robust, open and sustained communication channels within the project team and with the broader stakeholder community.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to shape the project and proactively solve conflict situations through problem-solving, negotiation, open communication, and direct influencing.
- Experience in proactively forecasting and managing project costs to forecasts, both Opex and Capex.
- Security (infosec and cyber security) knowledge and experience would be an advantage.
- Industry recognised Project Management Qualification.
