The role:
The role sits at the heart of the project delivery lifecycle and is responsible for the physical construction and implementation of solutions. Its workload will to a large extent be prescribed by the business solutions function however it is accountable for the project delivery once it has agreed the cost and timelines.
Projects will be delivered using the agreed Business Technology Programme/Project methodology
Recipient of requirements and solutions from the business solutions functions which they plan and execute the delivery thereof.
Project Managers will work closely with Business Analysts to translate requirements into reality. It is their responsibility to:
- Lead, plan and manage the delivery of the requirements provided by the Business solution team
- Ensure the delivery scope is maintained
- Define & manage an effective Communications Plans
- Ensure project delivery meets governance standards
- Formulate and control project budgets
- Manage resources & project timelines
- Successfully implement the change into BAU business operations and BT Service
- Manage & escalate Risks, Issues, Dependencies & Resource constraints
- Manage project stakeholders effectively
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan and manage the delivery of the requirements provided by the Business solution team & ensure delivery scope is maintained
- Definition & management of an effective Communications Plans
- Ensure project delivery meets governance standards
- Budget creation & control
- Managing resources & project timelines
- Successfully implement the change into BAU business operations and BT Service
- Implement the solution to meet the stakeholder success criteria
- Project stakeholder management
- Management & escalation of Risks, Issues, Dependencies & Resources
- Ensure personal knowledge and exposure to business change opportunities remains up to date, appropriate and relevant.

Required skills and competencies:
- Project Management Experience in the delivery of complex technical projects in a fast paced/time critical environment
- 3 years’ experience working alongside Operations, Supply Chain, and Merchandising departments of large FMCG businesses (ideal, not essential)
- Management of multiple 3rd party system integrators
- Experience of deploying technologies across multiple sites.
- Experience of delivering projects using Agile & waterfall methodologies
- Experience of change activities such as stakeholder management and business engagement.
- Detailed understanding of Business processes
- Stakeholder management up to the most senior levels
- Strong presentation and communication skills (Various stakeholders)
