Job description
Our client is looking for a self-motivated Payroll Officer to join their Finance team based in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career.
The Role
Working in a small team you will take the lead in Payroll matters and be responsible for:
Creating, maintaining and managing a large weekly payroll
Reconciliations
Payroll Reporting
Statutory deductions
Processing pension contributions
Preparation for audits
Provide support to Head of Finance with other duties relating to Payroll.
To be successful you will need:
Experience of end-to-end payroll processing for a high volume of people
Be process driven.
Attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
IT skills, specifically excel skills.
Proficiency for numerical data
To be a good team player
