Technical production assistant wanted to help co-ordinate and produce corporate events for some of the leading brands in the world. JB Communications based in West London was founded in 1969 and excel at delivering corporate communications in virtual & live events.
The Role; You will be required to operate a wide range of Audio Visual & Broadcast equipment and co-ordinate with internal and external clients to deliver seamless events and recordings both in the office and on-site. The job includes ….
- Setup and operate vMix, Microsoft Teams, Roland vision mixer and other general professional audio-visual equipment
- Simple video editing in Premiere Pro and assist with Camera work
- To help co-ordinate and deliver corporate events. These will either be broadcast from our office in Hammersmith or you will be part of a working crew onsite
- Provide technical support and maintenance in our customer collaboration centres for all of the installed AV systems as well as at live events
· General IT / PC support around the office
· H+S documentation for events

About you;
The role would best suit a pro-active, self-motivated individual who is punctual, reliable and who adopts a flexible mind-set and approach to their work. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and be an effective team member and communicator. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 1 years’ experience or formal qualification in either live events, virtual events or video production roles. You are keen to learn new software but Training will be given. Ideal skill sets and experience will include;
- Experience with installing and operating professional AV equipment such as PA systems, Projectors, Seamless video switchers, Wireless microphones and Stage lighting
- Experience in video editing and encoding – Adobe Premiere Pro and AFX
- Knowledge of VMix and streaming protocols
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and other Virtual meeting platforms
- Microsoft Office, with particular focus on PowerPoint
- Basic Adobe Creative Cloud experience - Photoshop
- IT literate
- Very comfortable learning new technical skills and technologies
- Good Client Liaison skills
- Good Teamwork skills
- Proactive and Self Motivated
- Punctual and Flexible
- Strong commitment to Health and Safety
- Effective organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Salary £21,000.00 - £24,000.00 per year (Depending on experience)
