Job description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the new business strategy and maintenance of a robust new business pipeline generated from both internal (EFG Wealth Planning and Client Relationship Officer (“CRO”)) enquiries and external enquiries.
- Assist with the completion of detailed prospective requests for information, providing support to the Team Director ensuring the prospective clients receive consistent representation from EFG Wealth Solutions to enable the new business opportunities referred into EFG Trust Company (Jersey) Limited (“EFGTCL”) progressed and ultimately converted to New Business.
- Ensure all New Business is onboarded effectively and handed over to the responsible Client Director and team members for the ongoing fiduciary lifecycle of the business, highlighted areas of risk to be mitigated and anticipated administration tasks to be undertaken.
- Assist with the development and ongoing maintenance of tools and materials for EFGTCL to assist with raising the awareness of the Trust offering to the EFG CRO’s population, prospective clients, other professional advisors, bankers and investment advisors in support of the business growth strategy.
- Participate in ensuring that all new business is considered and accepted in line with EFG’s risk management framework. Ensure structure specific risks are mitigated as appropriate. Comply with all local regulatory requirements (law, codes of practice and guidance), Group and local policies and procedures relevant to the department.
- Identify areas in conjunction with Team Director to improve and control the onboarding and client experience process and implement operational efficiencies, ensuring that the function is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- The primary focus of the individual will be on new business take-on, however it is envisaged that the individual will also be involved in projects and change initiatives across the organisation as required. Continually look to identify areas of improvement, standardisation, and increased efficiency to enhance the overall service delivery of the team and Company as a whole to enhance the client experience.
- Act as member of the Trust Management Committee and as an ‘B or C’ signatory (depending on experience).
- Comply with all local regulatory requirements (law, codes of practice and guidance), Group and local policies and procedures relevant to the department.
