About the role
Do you have a strategic mindset? In this newly created role, as Technical Product Manager you will focus on supporting innovative and customer-focused platform solutions. Your role will be critical in ensuring stability of the platforms as well as defining and implementing a roadmap. You will play a vital role in building partnerships with our business colleagues to align to business strategy and the business needs as well as our Third-Party Suppliers to understand upcoming upgrades and explore opportunities within the platforms to ensure we have a sustainable, stable, cyber safe solutions tech debt free which enable our customers to unlock value from our platform products. You will report to the Head of Global Platforms where you will focus on the HR and Corporate technology platforms – including Workday HCM/ERP and the HR landscape and the Legal, General Counsel and DPO areas of responsibilities.
This role can be based in the UK where our head office is London where you may spend time (at least 1 day per week) or the USA where you may spend time in our New York or Newport Beach, California office (at least 1 day per week).
What you’ll be doing
You will act as the primary point of contact for global platform users, providing prompt and accurate technical support as well as assisting users in troubleshooting platform-related issues, answering questions, and providing guidance on platform features and functionalities. You will diagnose and resolve global platform issues reported by users, including but not limited to login problems, content display errors, functional issues, and system errors and be an escalation point to ensure incidents are resolved within SLAs. For new products define support model and ensure Partners adhere to agreed model providing the required service.
Other duties will include:
- Gather user feedback and suggestions to improve the user experience and identify opportunities for platform enhancements. Collaborate with product management and business leaders to communicate user needs and contribute to the continuous improvement of global platforms. Where appropriate work with business teams to define roadmaps and future changes needed. Build partnership with Third Party vendors to understand product roadmaps and be able to plan upgrades in advance.
- Facilitate communication with users regarding ongoing upgrades and feature releases to platforms. Coordinate with business leaders to develop and execute effective communication strategies, including release notes, announcements, and training to inform and educate users about new features and enhancements.
- Ensure platforms are regularly reviewed by Infosec team meeting all cyber safety requirements.
- Create and maintain user-friendly documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides to empower users to find solutions independently. Regularly update and expand the knowledge base to reflect platform updates and enhancements. Ensure training and training documentation is available to new users so they are proficient in utilizing platform features effectively. Develop training materials and resources to support user on-boarding and ongoing education and work with the suppliers to obtain materials already available.
- Identify and report any software bugs or technical glitches encountered by users, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce the issue. Collaborate with the development and QA teams to test bug fixes and new platform features before they are deployed.
- Understand the trends in the industry and work with our Third-Party Partners to ensure our platforms remain up to date, innovative and deliver to customer requirements.
Over the next 12 months you will Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for platform solutions, identifying key market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth, prioritize new platform solution features and enhancements, as well as define target markets and go-to-market strategies and build and lead a high-performing platform solutions team, including supporting to hire new team members as needed and providing ongoing coaching and development to team members.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who has the ability to connect the dots, acts with empathy and emotional intelligence as well as demonstrates the ability to problem solve. The ideal candidate will also have:
- Strong Product Management experience with skills in Supplier Management, Project Management and Technical knowledge of system implementation and roadmap implementation
- Deep technical experience of HR and Corporate platforms such as Workday HCM and ERP
- Strong experience in platform engagement and support. The candidate should have a deep understanding of platform support, as well as experience supporting cross-functional teams
- Strong strategic mindset and be able to develop and execute on a comprehensive platform solutions roadmap that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives
- A customer focus and be able to understand and anticipate customer needs. The candidate should also be able to develop go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate the value of the platform solutions to potential customers.
- A proven track record of leadership and be able to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams. The candidate should be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate effectively across Boldyn Networks
