Savantage Solutions is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Technical Manager to join our technical services team to be a point of contact to senior government stakeholders on overall program/contract execution and all contractual activities related to performance, cost, and schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience managing an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) cloud migration project
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience with managing financial and IT-related projects such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), financial system development and integration, and business process reengineering.
- Serve as the Technical Point of Contact (POC) for meetings supporting infrastructure activities such as migrations, patching, upgrades and security reviews, audit requests, as well as other project initiatives.
- Lead and support technical meetings and status reviews with government Executive leadership, internal management, and development team.
- Experience with project management strategies and techniques; experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC) activities.
- Experience with strategic decision-making, risk management framework, configuration management, information assurance (IA), and quality assurance (QA).
- Familiarity with assessing IT systems availability, reliability, security, and scalability.
- Familiarity with technology platforms, service delivery models, and knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) policies, procedures, and business processes, with respect to Oracle technologies and various Cloud service providers/services (e.g., Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Oracle OCI).
- Prepare. Review, and/or approve weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and deliverables to government.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
The candidate must have:
- 10+ years of related work experience; experience managing DoD projects preferred.
- Experience managing financial system implementations and migrations such as Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS); Federal experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders (e.g., within government, DoD, and commercial.
- Experience with Microsoft products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project).
- Experience with Solutions Business Manager (SBM), Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, GitLab, GitHub, and other tools preferred.
- An active Secret Clearance.
Education and Certification
- BA/BS degree in a Business, engineering, or related field; MA/MS degree a plus. Years of experience may be substituted for education on a one-for-one basis.
- PMI PMP (or equivalent) certification required.
