Salary: £28,500 plus £1,500 Welcome Bonus

The Role

Our Technical function ensures that our products and processes meet and exceed our customers’ exacting needs, both now and in the future. The roles are varied but the challenge is always the same: to develop and improve every grade of steel, so that it’s ready to meet the challenges of every possible application, from electrical use to aerospace and beyond. Technical excellence is at the heart of everything we do, underpinning areas including product development, asset development, quality assurance, metallurgical investigations and customer support.

You must have at least a 2:1 Degree in either Materials Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy, Chemistry, Physics or Maths.

Driven, passionate and tenacious, your strong sense of personal accountability is bolstered by your eye for the bigger picture. Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to inspire trust and build engagement are also essential.
