We are seeking a Solar PV & Heat Pump Technical Engineer, to support the development of an extensive pipeline of renewable energy projects throughout the UK. This role has the opportunity to work on the engineering and design development of a variety of solar PV, battery storage and heat pump solutions. You will be working alongside an in-house team of sales, operations, and installers.
About the Role:
- Support for both domestic and commercial applications
- Support the design team in producing engineering drawings using Solar Software and AutoCAD for feasibility, optimised system performance and installation requirements
- Understanding renewable products to select appropriate equipment and materials
- Support installation engineers in understanding system installation drawings
- Build installation packs
- We will consider remote working, but the candidate will need to travel to our offices and sites on occasion
About You:
- Solar and heat pump electrical design experience
- Electrical qualifications
- Good Microsoft / Google office skills
- Conversant with all relevant design and building standards
- Good communicator
- Willingness to travel as and when required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
