PRAISE ENDURANCE is a Montreal based Running brand that breathes inclusivity, creativity, and passion.

We are currently looking for a Junior Technical Designer to join our Team. As part of a small company, your work will be key in the ongoing development of PRAISE mission through and through.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Maintain line plan and strategy up to date
• Create tech packs with design team to ensure each product executes the design vision
• Ensure requests follow brand and quality standards and specifications
• Provide innovative insights and solutions for product categories
• Use technical knowledge, market research, and product testing to participate in conceptualizing products that are strategic for end user and respond to maker’s strengths
• Conduct fittings with the production team
• Communicate with our overseas office regarding constructions and fit issues
• Revise tech packs with updated changes
• Work with production to troubleshoot and correct fit problems
• Send packages overseas

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 to 2 years in similar role
• Fashion Design Diploma
• Activewear design preferred
• Strong understanding of our customer base
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of all sewing finishes, trim requirements, and construction specifications
• Excellent knowledge of Abode's Illustrator, and InDesign
• Fast learner, motivated, solutions driven, team player

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Adobe Illustrator: 3 years (preferred)
• Activewear: 1 year (preferred)
• Building Techpacks: 2 years (preferred)
