Please note, the team observes a hybrid working pattern, that involves working in the office two days a week.
Salary: £52,912-66,140 per annum
Further basic salary increases should be expected from July 2023. More information on these increases will be given to the successful candidate.

This will help us create new, and improve existing, products and services to help us really make a difference to our customers.
Our Cash Management & Payments Platform, GEM & Payment Direct Channels Lab teams aim to deliver the highest quality software whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring and supporting colleague development.
This is a software engineering level role within the Lab that will blend deep domain / technical expertise with great passion for mentoring and developing software’s in delivering technical solutions to become the bank of the future.
About the role
We're looking to recruit someone who is keen to further develop their technical delivery lead career within our GEM & Payment Direct Channels lab. You will manage and control the delivery of complex, high profile projects, coordinating different deliverables within the Lab and across other Labs (within or outside Cash management and payments lab).
Here’s how you’ll make a difference:
- Reporting into the Engineering lead, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a project, producing and owning all project management deliverables, using a blend of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- You’ll build and motivate project teams to deliver on agreed outcomes and developing their Transformation Principles and Practices behaviours.
- You’ll own key project activities such as managing and monitoring risks, issues and change management.
- You’ll manage constructive relationships with project stakeholders and be involved in developing an appropriate stakeholder communication plan.
- You’ll input into regular status reporting, highlighting successes and blockers to key stakeholders.

What we need from you:
- Experience of end-to-end project delivery.
- Experience of managing change in a large organisation, responsible for all Business and Technology deliverables.
- Proven track-record in managing stakeholders across the organisation.
- Experience in project financial management.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work with a wide range of technical and non-technical colleagues
What will be desirable:
- Experience of working with cash management and payments applications.
- Experience in implementing and using Agile practices and tools.
- You’ll have a relevant qualification (APM or similar).
