An excellent opportunity for a business-minded analyst to join a growing dynamic consultancy firm in London. With a growing client base of boutique investment firms across the UK and Europe, you will gain exposure to various industries, including private equity and retail clients.
The Role
You will be travelling to client sites providing technical services to solve business challenges, using your technical and analytical skills to suggest bespoke solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be involved with clients and actively contribute to the direction of projects.
Responsibilities of the position:
- Liaising with clients and IT teams, gathering requirements, defining specifications and technical functions
- Implement and support technical aspects of data migrations
- Use SQL and Excel to manipulate data with scripting when necessary
Requirements
We are looking for the following attributes:
- Commercial experience in a related position (e.g business analyst)
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP?s, pivot tables, developing Macros)
- Knowledge of SQL (e.g. stored procedures, JOINS, UNIONS etc)
- Practical programming experience with Javascript, Python, or Perl
