Promesse de Fleurs is a French online plant nursery that offers more than 20,000 references of plants, bulbs and seeds to its customers. We mainly deliver in France but also offer worldwide delivery options.
As the French leader in the plants market with more than 2M visits monthly, our international activity is in full development. In this context, our product information has been translated into English and we are currently looking for several English proofreaders to take onthe following tasks:
- read and correct your portfolio of product datasheets: spelling mistakes, typography, etc.,
- control the datasheets global meaning, wording & understanding
- check the botanical information accuracy
- enrich our glossary of botanical terms.
The proofreading and correction of the product datasheets will be done directly on our IS back office.
Bilingual English, you must have a very strong knowledge of plants (professional horticulturist, or gardening enthusiast with a solid experience). Fluency in French is a plus.
You have perfect spelling and good writing skills in a simple, direct and sharp style. Ideally, you have some botanical or garden-related writing experience.
We are looking for up to 10 people for a 6 month period starting August 2023.
Salary: 3 € per product datasheet, expect an average of 6 to 10 datasheets per hour
Flexible working hours according to your availability, with an average minimum availability of fifteen hours per week.
After a short (remote) training you will work with full autonomy with the support of a project manager (via slack, mail and phone).
Status: freelancer
Opportunity to switch to a full-time contract (freelance or employee) on sales management (site banners drafting, creation opportunities, campaigns design)

Salary: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
