A new and exciting role has recently become available at UK’s favourite and largest desert parlour brand Creams, for the position of a Technical & Compliance Auditor. This is a field-based role with flexibility in which you will be required to visit a vast array of Creams restaurants helping them to drive change as you support them with their different safety and compliance needs to be in line with the company standards and legal requirements. As part of your role you will be reporting to the Technical & Compliance Manager.
The Job:
- Carry out risk assessed internal audits, ensuring food safety, fire safety, health & safety, compliance and legality are being met
- Comprehensive understanding of supplier requirements in order to ensure delivery of technical food safety criteria for the restaurants
- A comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and how these are applied and translated within with the restaurants
- Ensure Food Safety, Fire Safety, Health & Safety audits and approvals are conducted on an appropriate, risk assessed schedule whilst also ensuring other requirements are met from an auditing perspective (e.g. Emergency audits, new supplier approval audits, innovation auditing and investigations)
- Communication of best practice and suggest ways of working to ensure effectiveness across the group from a compliance and technical standards perspective
- Ensure up to date technical policies and procedures are operational and aligned to best practice from a legal and customer compliance perspective
What we’re looking for:
- Degree level in Environmental Health/Food Science discipline
- Proven track record working in quality/technical within the hospitality and retail sector
- Excellent working knowledge of FSMS/HACCP & multiple hospitality requirements
- Excellent report, presentation & communication skills, both verbal and written
- Forward thinker with a strong desire to do well
- Demonstrates the ability to implement and drive change and transformation
- Capable of managing their own work load and time effectively
- Strong relationship building skills.
- IT literate and competent in MS Office 365
- Full UK Driving Licence
