CAD Draughtsman
Hebburn Based
Salary: £32,000-£33,000

Company Overview
This company have 3 sites across the UK who have heavy engineering and fabrication at their core who have a workforce that can compete with demanding projects. Your main responsibility relates to CAD interpretation and development of steel plate parts mainly for shipbuilding and ship repair projects.
Skills & Experience:
- HNC/Degree within an engineering disciple (marine related desirable),
- CAD drawing background essential,
- Familiarity with ship structures/ship building is desirable.
- Have an understanding of CNC machinery.
- Ability to understand and implement engineering drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Use AutoCAD frequently and competently for production purposes.
- Understanding specifications/designs and scope of work for required projects.
- To identify and raise any concerns regarding client supplied specifications & drawings.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, quality control and Section leaders
