Job description
- Working in an agile environment analysing and capturing internal and external requirements then translating them clearly and concisely via user stories for the engineering team.
- Iterative approach to working with the engineering team from initial story review and feedback on scenarios, attending daily scrum, sprint planning and retrospectives, and day-to-day interactions with dev/QA as the sprints progress.
- Acting as a bridge between the business and the technical teams.
- Identifying potential impacts of changes to the organisation and its partners, clients, and account holders.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders which include Products, Operations, and other platform component engineering teams to propose and agree new solutions.
- Documenting the processes and solutions both at a high level and technical solution.
- Supporting other team members to achieve company objectives along with promoting positive collaborative atmosphere.
- Recent experience as either a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Software Developer.
- Proven experience in an IT environment closely interacting with development teams on day-to-day basis.
- High level understanding of technical concepts and the integration of platforms (e.g. API integration, web-services, batch files, xml, REST, Webhooks)
- Excellent analytical skills, with a problem-solving approach and ability to capture requirements and solutions and document them in a clear and concise manner.
- Results-orientated, self-motivated, and persistent with the ability to work independently and follow through.
- Positive attitude and outlook, determined, enthusiastic and resilient with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Great organisational skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential along with good interpersonal skills.
- Atlassian JIRA knowledge.
- Knowledge of payments, banking, or financial transaction processing.
- Data discovery via Oracle SQL would be a useful but not essential skill.
