This is a unique opportunity to work enterprise wide, ensuring ongoing development and visibility of all critical business activities through quantifying business benefits, identifying new opportunities and tracking progress.
As part of your role you’ll also act as Business Lead for appropriate Enterprise wide programmes and serve as a Technical Assistant to the Executive Team, performing tactical and strategic tasks including BoM/BoD agendas, HQ related activity and progressing our Sustainability goals.

- Define and own coordination and facilitation of the overall Executive agenda; lead planning activity to ensure all Executive activity is facilitated, collated and progressed
- Support the Executive and Strategy Manager with executive level business support including Board of Directors, Statutory Board of Management, VWG BoM and Supervisory Board, ABS/Regulatory and Statutory reporting and Headquarters. You’ll also support with sponsored investigations, fact finds and special projects
- Work collaboratively with all areas of the business to drive forward the Exec agenda, ensuring transparency and consistency in approach
- Drive and support the development and implementation of Sustainability goals in the UK, closely aligned to VWFS AG and VWG UK. Spearhead and manage the cross functional Sustainability team, ensuring synergies are managed, conflicting priorities are resolved and all stakeholders are kept informed, on target and supported through each work-stream.

This is what you will bring to the role:
- Degree level educated or equivalent experience in Business related subject
- Experience and awareness of requirements operating within regulatory and compliance landscape relevant to the Financial Services sector
- Experience of interacting, influencing and negotiating with key senior stakeholders
- Proven commercial capability regarding Change Management within organisations
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills as an adept communicator and with excellent political sense
- A strong grasp of strategic change with an ability to translate this into smartly structured programmes and change initiatives and able to present complex data and arguments in ways that are understandable by all levels of knowledge
- Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity and find resolutions in spite of incomplete information and make sound choices for the business
- Ability to build strong networks across the multiple different business areas and to encourage, develop and support collaborative working across the multiple disciplines and functional areas
- Ability to identify priorities, plan/organise activity and review approach
- Strong conceptual problem solving skills and ability to approach complex, ambiguous business problems and formulate pathways towards a solution
- Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills

Closing date: 5th March | Salary: £49-£60k based on 35 hours per week and experience. On top of that you can expect an excellent benefits package including access to company car and hybrid working.
As part of our hybrid working arrangements we are giving our colleagues the opportunity to work a minimum of one day in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected and you can work in the office more if you'd prefer.
